Checking Out the Local Area

Today we wandered off the beaten path to a busy market street about eight blocks away or so. Brock took a couple of videos of the scenery along the way:





We stumbled upon an Italian restaurant that we sampled for lunch. We were floored by the prices. We ordered way more food than we needed: a spicy wonton & clam soup (for Shaling), spicy chicken wings, jumbo fried shrimp, corn, potato wedges, cheese pizza, spaghetti, mango pudding, chocolate ice cream, tiramisu & 4 drinks. It cost us 117RMB (or about $18).
