Yu Bei, who will be coming to Illinois soon, peeks around the corner.

Though Shaling is pointing up, the lower bunk here was her bed.

I think this little girl is desperate to be adopted...very talkative and craving for attention.

This is the roof of their building. It appears that they process their meat, dry out their laundry, and keep their own garden here.
Snapshots of Shaling on the wall
Connie explains to Yu Bei that she will live just two or three hours from Shaling.
The kids line up on the balcony to tell us all "bye-bye, bye-bye"!
Shaling poses in front of her school.
Thanks so much for taking the time to document your journey. The pictures of Francine YuBei are priceless! Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteCathy & Tom
My daughter saw the photos and was so excited to see her "Sister!" YuBei must have cared so much for our daughter and been a great big "sister". We wish we could get in touch with the family who is adopting her.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what the name of the child who visited with you and wants adopted is? I wonder if she is on a list or if her paperwork is ready for adoption?
Thanks for the wonderful look inside our daughter's previous home.
Christie
Christie,
ReplyDeleteTim knows that little girl's name, but I don't remember it right now. I think he somewhat interested in her. I don't know if she is on the list.
The family adopting Yu Bei is Cathy & Tom, who made the comment above yours. She will be in Illinois. Yu Bei will be one of 4 Chinese sisters.
